Micheal Gerrod Burks' Obituary
Micheal Gerrod Burks, 45, a Chattanooga native, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at his Detroit, Michigan residence. He was a 1993 graduate of Chattanooga Performing Arts. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Georgia Burks; uncle, Eddie Burks; and niece, Shanecia Kelly. Survivors include his mother, Hattie Burks; brothers, Shannon (Bonita) Burks and Chris (Hilary) Burks; sister, Felicia (Anthony) Kelly; nieces, Jalisa Kelly and Miesha Kelly; nephews, Anthony Kelly, Jr.; great-nephews, Jeremiah Hendricks, JaCaleb Harris, and Aceton Kelly; aunts, Louise (James) Burks and JoAnn (Gene) Smith; special family friend, Sean Kelly; and a host of aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends. Pastor Ternae Jordan, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
