Michael Dale Mitchell's Obituary
Michael Dale Mitchell, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at his residence. He was a graduate of Brainerd High School and retired from Southern Railroad where he worked for over 15 years. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lon Ed and Minnie Mitchell; uncle, Isaiah Alexander; aunt, Mildred Lard; brother, Officer Richard C. Alexander; sister, Mildred Brown; brother-in-law, Gregory Jones; and niece, Angela Alexander. He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Cory Mitchell; siblings, Oliver (Mary) Baker, Yvonne Maxwell, Patricia Russell, Melinda (George) Davidson, Priscilla Jones; sister-in-law, Joyce Alexander; brother-in-law, Anthony Brown; cousin, Diane Cohn and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a community of friends. Pastor Samuel R. Jackson will be the eulogist.
