Mr. Michael Parker Cox's Obituary
Michael Parker Cox, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at his residence. He attended Tyner High School. He was a former member of Ridgedale Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon. Michael later became a member of East 3rd Street Church of Christ, where he served in many capacities in the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Lillie Cox; grandparents, Dinky Guy and Nina Frazier; brother, Robert “RIP” Frazier. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Robin Cox; sons, Michael (Jana) Cox and Jeremy (Elizabeth) Cox, both of Chattanooga, and Shannon (Hellana) Cox of Marietta, GA; daughter, Nikia Cox of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Lorraine) Cox of Johnson City, TN and Henry Cox of Chattanooga; sisters, Nina Frazier and Constance Deramus, both of Nashville, TN; several nephews; nieces; cousins; other relatives and friends. Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
