Melody Oliver-Boyd's Obituary
Melody Oliver-Boyd, 61, of Chattanooga, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 14, 2022, at her residence. She lived in New Orleans, Louisiana most of her life before evacuating to Chattanooga from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Melody wore many hats: homemaker, sister, cat lover, life long Lupus Warrior, a friend and prayer warrior to many. Melody was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Oliver, Sr.; mother, Christine Lawrence; and brother, Andrew Darryl Oliver. She is survived by one brother, Anthony J. (Nanette) Oliver; uncles, Edgar (Joann) Lockett of New Orleans, LA, Willie James Oliver of Kansas, and Henry Russell of New Orleans, LA; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
