Maurice “Reece” Wallace, 54, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was a 1985 graduate of Howard High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Wallace and Annie Watkins; aunt who reared him, Cassie Watkins; uncles June Watkins and Willie Watkins; brother-in-law, Roy Ramsey, Jr.. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Almeta Wallace; sons, Robert Smith and Clarence Goines; daughters, Marisha Wallace, Diondra Wallace (Efrain) Escarfullet, and Tyresha Strickland; 16 grandchildren; father-in-law, Roy Ramsey, Sr.; brothers, Aaron (Corita) Wallace, Marvin Wallace, Chris Clark, and Darius (Shawan) Hixson; sisters, April Taylor, Taffany Jackson, and Destiny Taylor; uncle, Willie Wallace; aunt, Georgia Moore; brother-in-law, Charles (Sharon) Moore, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Ron King will serve as the eulogist.
