Mattie Elizabeth Bradley's Obituary
Mattie Elizabeth Bradley, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at her residence. She was a 1973 graduate of Harper High School in Chicago, IL. She went on to attend Eastern Illinois University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Mattie later acquired her master’s degree from Governors State University. She was a member of Church of The First Born. Mattie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Bradley; mother, Mary Douglas; and father, Raymond Harris, Sr. Survivors include her son, Benjamin Bradley; daughters, Candace Bradley and Mary Bradley all of Dolton, IL; grandchildren, Suraya Smith, Layla Bradley, Michael Smith, and Miracle Williams; brothers, Raymond Harris Jr., of Chicago, IL, Inseel Harris of Los Angeles, CA, and Charles Davis of Maryland; sisters, Denise Jones of New Jersey; uncles, Fred (Susie) Douglas, MacArthur Douglas, and Jerry Douglas all of Chattanooga, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Pastor Alfred Johnson will serve as the eulogist.
