Maryetta S. Melvin, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her residence. She was a member of World’s Church of the Living God. Maryetta was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Melvin, Sr.; and daughter, Yolanda Melvin. Survivors include her son, Clifford (Miranda) Melvin, Jr. of Ringgold, GA; daughters, Selina Melvin, Paula (Frank) Garner, Esther Melvin, Zipporah Melvin (Chris Russell), and Tonya Melvin, all of Chattanooga; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Ulysses (Sharon) Springs of Jasper, TN; sisters, Norma Reynolds of Whitwell, Betty Jo Springs of Victoria, TN, and Beverly Patrick of S. Pittsburgh, TN; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Allen Harrington will serve as the eulogist.
