Elder Mary Magdalene Scott's Obituary
Elder Mary Magdalene Scott, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Howard High School. She received her associate degree from Emerson College. Mary was the Pastor of Triumph The Church and Kingdom Of God In Christ. She was on the radio station with WMOC and television channel with WJTT. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby Gooden; sons, Joseph Scott, Larry Scott, and Benny Scott; two sisters; and four brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Burson of Lupton City, TN; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Sam (Gloria) Gooden of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Elder Cheryl Threets will be the eulogist.
