Condolences to the family of Ms Mary Louise Jones. Ruth A Boykin (Green)

04/22/2025 Ms. Mary was constantly on the move, and in my career in the Columbia office, I've only known her to miss one day. We were all worried, but you had better not ask her about it. 😊 Ms. Mary was a very private person. She was my immediate supervisor and much more. I called her my work mother. She kept us in line with work assignments and reminders of when those assignments needed to be completed. She would also help with those assignments if she knew we were overloaded or just needed some help. She was an extraordinary person, dedicated servant, a confidant, and a Christian believer. I will miss her helping us at the window when we got overwhelmed with visitors, and the many countless tasks she took on, walking quietly by. I will miss her sweet face, overhearing her conversations at the window, her laughter, and our many conversations about work assignments and our afterhours chats. She would watch me get in my car, start up, and waive from the door. I ask her one day, who makes sure you get to your car safely. She answered, the Lord. So, I left it at that. There will never be another Ms. Mary. I love you Ms. Mary, rest now, until we meet again on the other side. ❤️💕 Gale Pope, your work daughter.
