Mary Alice Hall's Obituary
Mary Alice Hall, 72, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. She attended Handley High School. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when her children needed her. Mary was a well-loved member of her community in Chattanooga. She accepted Christ into her life at a very young age and read her bible daily. Mary’s love for her children and grandchildren were unmatched as she was always there showing support, guidance, having a listening ear, and giving a loving kick in the behind if needed. To know her was to love her. She was loving, but a firm disciplinarian and we would not have it any other way. She was preceded in death by Henry (Lula) Hill and Georgia Yearby; daughter, Robin Denise Hall; granddaughter, J’Undra Bonds; brother, Willie Paul Ednesome; and sisters, Carolyn Marshall and Ruby Stevenson. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Hall and Torence Hall; daughters, Kymberly Hall-Adams, Terrie Angel, and Missy Hall-Rizer; sisters, DeLois Winchester of NC, Linda Clark, Mae Long, Teresa Burgess, and Betty Burgess, all of Chattanooga; brother, Jesse Burgess of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Mary will lie-in-state on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. as the eulogist.
