Marsha Reeves' Obituary
Marsha Ann Mildred DeJurnett Reeves, 76, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 in a hospital in Hermitage, Tennessee. Marsha was educated in the Chattanooga public school system and later in her life attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She married Jackie Reeves on October 13, 1963. She was employed by TVA-Watts Bar for several years until her retirement due to illness. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; her husband, Jackie Reeves; son, Richard DeJurnett; brother, Karl Kendricks; sisters, Rochelle Kendricks and Ray Kendricks; brother-in-law, James Reeves; and sister-in-law, Erma Reeves. Survivors include her daughter, Alicia Gaines of Bronx, NY; son, Jackie (Cathleen) Reeves, Jr. of Georgia; daughter, Monique (Ken) Gaines of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren, Cedric, Marjorie, Xienna, Cheri, Michael, Jackie Jr., Jasmine, and Jordan; six great-grandchildren; brother, James Kendricks; brother-in-law, Alvin Ramsey; a host of nephews; nieces; cousins; and friends.
