Marlene L. Gladden's Obituary
Marlene L. Gladden, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at her residence. She was a faithful member of Greater Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed. She served on the Culinary Committee, Usher Board, Nurses’ Guild and sang in the Choir. She retired from ConAgra after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lonnie Gladden, Sr.; brothers, Harrison Lofton, Warner Lofton, Leroy Lofton, and Rayfun Lofton; goddaughter, Latara Hughes. Survivors include her children, Terrell (David) Stevens, Ramona (Dennis) Pratt, Lonnie (Michelle) Gladden, Jr., Kenneth (Talza) Gladden, Marcus (Tiffany) Gladden, and Tanika Gladden; 25 grandchildren; 71 great- grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lizzie Ball of Chattanooga and Alma Barnes of Orlando, FL; sisters-in-law, Almeta Jackson, Bertha Gladden, Mary Jones, Beverly Lofton, and Nancy Lofton; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Maurice Gilchrist will be the eulogist.
