Mark Anthony Grayson's Obituary
Mark Anthony Grayson, 46, formerly of Chattanooga, went home to Jesus peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in an Atlanta, Georgia hospital. He was a 1995 graduate of City High School and received a Certificate in Diesel Mechanic from Chattanooga State Community College. Mark was employed by Crystal Springs as a Diesel Mechanic. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ally G. Grayson, Wilma Grayson, and Dolly H. Martin. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Anita Grayson; sons, Mark Grayson, II, Malek Grayson, both of Chattanooga, and Amare’ Grayson of Stockbridge, GA; daughter, Ayana Grayson of Stockbridge; father, David Grayson; mother, Teresa Grayson, both of Chattanooga; brothers, Frederick (Kayla) Moore of Hollywood, AL and Delverin (Amanda) Havis of Chattanooga; sister, Tamara Grayson (Stacey) Eubanks of Chattanooga; nephew, Gabriel Grayson-Henderson; mother-in-law, Veronica Chunn; sister-in-law, Tamika Cummings, all of Chattanooga; a host of uncles; aunts; cousins; other relatives and friends. Mark will lie-in-state on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. There will be no service.
