Marion Parks' Obituary
Mr. Marion Parks transitioned from his earthly life on April 1, 2024, at a local healthcare facility. He was born January 11, 1944, in Griffin, GA to the late Robert and Burdia Mae Parks. He was a 1962 graduate of Howard High School. Marion worked various jobs at Van Heusen, Erlanger Hospital, and Homer’s Restaurant. It was there that he developed a love of cooking. He was preceded in death by son, Jeff Parks; brother, Eddie Parks; daughter, Angela Bass. Celebrating and cherishing his life are his beloved children, Marilyn (Anthony) Parks, Michael (Marechia) Parks, Antionette (Lance) Dorsey; mother of children, Mary Parks; brothers Robert (Patsy) Parks, Raymond Parks, Charlie M. (Sarah) Parks, Kenneth Parks, Jerry Parks; sisters Rozzie Carter and Olivia Bowens; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; dear friends, Darryl Williams, Walter J. Webb, and many other friends. He will be missed by all. There will be no service.
