Marcus DeWayne Taylor's Obituary
Marcus DeWayne Taylor, 34, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a 2004 graduate of Brainerd High School. He was baptized at an early age at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Marcus was an active member of the Usher Board at Love Fellowship Baptist Church. Marcus was employed at Food City for six years. Survivors include his mother, Deborah (Reginald) Rucker; father, Edmund Hyter; grandmothers, Evelyn Shropshire and Edna Rucker; sisters, Pamela Hyter and Shante’ Rucker; uncle, James (Sabrina) Shropshire; aunts, Carol (Herman) Nance and Frankie Atkins, all of Chattanooga; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pastor Gerald O’Guinn will serve as the eulogist.
