Marcus Lemont Crawford's Obituary
Marcus Lemont Crawford, 43, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Marcus was born on March, 26, 1982 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, living a life full of warmth, humor and generosity.
For 18 years, he was a devoted husband and best friend to his wife, Dee-Dee, with whom he shared a bond built on love, partnership, and countless cherished memories. Together they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and adventure.
Marcus will be remembered for his kind heart, steady strength, and the way he made everyone feel seen and valued. He loved to travel and he found his greatest happiness in the presence of his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dee-Dee; his sons, Mekhi and Mason; mother, Cynthia Crawford; sisters, Fanieka Crawford and Cecilla (Amber) Crawford; brothers, Flavian Crawford and Perry Crawford, Jr.; mother-in-law, Delores Kelly; and a host of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Services to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. The family welcomes all who knew and loved him to join in remembrance. Though his time with us was far too short, his love, wisdom, and legacy will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know him.
