Mandy Lawrence's Obituary
Mandy Lee Lawrence, 88, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at her residence. She was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church. Mandy was the owner of W&M and Good Eats restaurant. She retired from Erlanger Hospital after many years of service. Mandy was preceded in death by her parents, Frazier and Annie Pearl Stringer; daughter, Belinda Stringer; son, Willie B. Lawrence, Jr.; husband, Willie B. Lawrence, Sr.; great-granddaughter, Jada A. Nowell; and son-in-law, JC Kelley. Survivors include her son, Wilbert (Jackie) Lawrence; daughters, Barbara Lawrence-Kelley and Deborah (Corey) White, all of Chattanooga; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Johnnie Mae Miller of Augusta, GA; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Mandy will lie-in-state on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Rose of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Moore as the eulogist. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
