Mable Baker's Obituary
Mable Baker, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at her residence. She was born November 3, 1935, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Mable Jones Green and Martin Leon Green. She attended the old Howard School and started her career in service when she met the late Rev. J. Lloyd and Lottie Edwards. Ms. Baker became a member of the Cosmopolitan Community Church for over 50 years, along with her children and other family members. She later became a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church.
Mable will lie-in-state on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Maize George, V as the Eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
