Lurlene Billingsley's Obituary
Lurlene Billingsley, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021, in a local hospital. She was a graduate of Howard High School. She graduated from Chattanooga State with a degree in Culinary Arts. Lurlene was a faithful member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Pilgrim Joy District Association. Lurlene was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Annie Billingsley; sisters, Louise Billingsley and Hilda Billingsley; aunts, Ruth B. Talley Ramsey and Anne B. Greene. Survivors include sons, Cedric Billingsley, Ronnie Billingsley, Stacey Cummings, and Herbauchie Cummings, all of Chattanooga; 38 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friend, Yalonda Cothran; other relatives, and friends. Pastor Kelvert Scruggs will be the eulogist.
