Louise (Pinkard) Montgomery Arnold's Obituary
Louise (Pinkard) Montgomery Arnold, 80, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2020. She was a graduate of Howard High School and retired from Uniform Rental Services. Louise served for 10 years as a devoted volunteer at Memorial Hospital. She always said that she felt blessed to help patients because that opportunity was a blessing to her. She was a former member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church and later became a faithful member of 31 years at Second Missionary Baptist Church. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lucille Pinkard; brother, James Edward Pinkard; sister, Willie Mae Pinkard; and nephew, Leslie Vaughn Prater. Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Dollie) Montgomery, Sr., Spencer Montgomery, Sr., and Terry Montgomery; grandchildren, Spencer Montgomery, Jr., Kerry (Tyra) Montgomery, Shemila Montgomery, Ronald Montgomery, Jr., and LaQueta Desirea (Adrian) White; 4 great-grandchildren, all of Chattanooga; devoted niece, Dr. Loretta (Dwight) Prater of Cape Girardeau, MO, other nieces including Janice Pinkard of New Haven, CT and Patrice Johnson of Chicago, IL; great-nephew, Stefan (Heather) Prater of Tacoma, WA; brother-in-law, Leroy Montgomery of Atlanta, GA; cousin, Dorothy (Alvin) Winton of St. Louis, MO; devoted friends, LeMorris Wynn and Katrina Gordon; a host of other nephews; nieces; cousins; and friends. Dr. Ernest Reid will serve as the eulogist and Dr. Paul A. McDaniel presiding.
