Loretta T. Howard's Obituary
Loretta T. Howard, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her residence. She attended Riverside High School.
Loretta was formerly employed as an Operating Room Technician, completed training with the National School of Hair Design, and was also a childcare provider.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Terry; mother, Corena Jones; brothers, William Talley, Orlando Terry, and Dennis Terry; and sister, Brenda Terry.
Survivors include her daughter, Phillissia Hambright of Chattanooga; and granddaughter, Ainek (Kim) Jenkins-McKenzie of Fort Oglethorpe, GA.; sisters, Diane Talley of Chattanooga and Cynthia Westerfield of Davenport, Iowa; brothers, Thomas Terry, Jr., Gary Terry, both of Davenport, Iowa, and Maurice (Alberta) Terry of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Loretta will lie-in-state on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Minister Barbara Davidson as the Eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
