Lorenzo Jarrett Sr.'s Obituary
Lorenzo Jarrett, Sr., “Rabbit”, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, in a health care facility in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He was born on July 1, 1957, to James Ball and Delores Jarrett-Crutcher in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Lorenzo was educated at Job Corp, where he received his GED, and became a licensed Chef. He opened his restaurant, All in the Family, in Alton Park. Later in life, Lorenzo retired from Vincent Printing Company.
Among those who preceded Lorenzo in death includes his grandmother, Mamie Jarrett; parents, James Ball and Delores Jarrett-Crutcher; step-father, James Earl Crutcher; son, Lorenzo Jarrett- “Lil Rabbit”, Jr.; great-grandson, Tahj Jones; great-granddaughter, Chris’tiana Rose Mikes Jarrett, brother, Ralph A. Jarrett, Sr.; aunt, Barbara Ann McReynalds; uncles, Kay Farris, John Jarrett and Frank Jarrett.
Cherishing his memories is his devoted son, Lavonte Pierre of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Lakisha (Jimmy) Leaster, Sharon Jarrett, Satasha Jarrett, of Chattanooga, and Keyatona Moore of Knoxville; brothers, Gregory Jarrett of Atlanta, GA, Kenneth (Lamar) Coker, Michael Gladden, Lyonel (Jane) Gladden, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Pamela Coker, Trina Coker, Shannon Ball, Angela (Dallas) Deloach (Dallas), and LaDawn (Derrick) Yearby, all of Chattanooga; aunts, Claytena Gore of Chattanooga and Bernice Johnson of New York, NY; grandchildren, Joseph Allen, Joshua Woodruff, Kashayla McCullough, Dominique Jarrett Keshawna Collier, Tommie Dean, Renazia Jarrett Aszianna Jarrett, Lorenzio, Char’lesia Patton, Lorenzo Jarrett III, Samyria Patton, Lorenzo Lebron Jarrett (Fields), all of Chattanooga; a host of other loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and dear friends. Lorenzo will lie-in-state on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Alexander J. Bullard, Sr. as the Eulogist.
