Lorenza Heard's Obituary
Lorenza Heard, 104, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Dixie Saving Warehouse as a truck driver. Lorenza was preceded in death by his wife, Mittie Heard; father, John Heard; mother, Martha Hill; daughter, Marilyn Calhoun; son-in-law, Junior Calhoun; granddaughter, Beverly Graham; son, Joe Heard; two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include his sons, Bobby (Irene) Heard, Freddie Heard, and Willie Heard; daughter-in-law, Lavonia Heard all of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation
Visitation is Friday, October 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life
The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor James Calhoun as the eulogist. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
