Lorene Reed Dunham's Obituary
Lorene Reed Dunham, 95, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 in Dominion Assisted Living Facility. She graduated from Tuskegee Institute High School. She was a Head Majorette at Tuskegee Institute while receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Lorene was employed by Macon County Department of Education as the Director of Head Start. She was a member of Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Alfonso Dunham; daughter, Cynthia Dunham Johnson. Survivors include her two grandchildren, Devan Johnson and Julius Johnson; one great-grandchild, Ava Elyse Johnson. Pastor Jonathan L. Pemberton will serve as the eulogist.
