Lonnie Davis, Jr., 55, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in a local healthcare facility. He was a 1985 graduate of Chattanooga Valley High School in Flintstone, Georgia. He attended the World’s Church of the Living God and was formerly employed by First Baptist Church. Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Davis, Sr.; 1st wife, Sonja Davis; mother, Annie Lay; stepson, Kentrell Provens; stepdaughter, Dannique Watkins; and father-in-law, Edwards Williams, II. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Y. Provens; daughter, Saniyya Davis of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; stepdaughter, Curesha (Jeremiah) Harrison of Chattanooga; stepsons, Stanford Stewart and LaBrandit (Lakosha) Williams, all of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; mother, Katherine Davis of Detroit, MI; brothers, Lonnie (Melissa) Davis, II of Atlanta, GA, Rick (Natalie) Southern of Cartersville, GA, Sonny Davis of Detroit, MI, and Demetris Daniels of New York; sisters, Ronda Upshaw of Chattanooga and Edna (Sherman) Moore of Detroit, MI; special grandson, KeManuell Watkins; special cousin, Tyree Moore; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
