Lizzie Mae Boyd's Obituary
Lizzie Mae Boyd, 85, formerly of Decatur, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, in a local hospital. She was a member of Decatur Christian Fellowship Church. Lizzie was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Boyd; parents, Queen and James Evans; son, Reggie Peoples; sisters, Marie Jones, Revell (James) Lane, and Eva (Orsteen) Washington. Survivors include her stepchildren, Philander Boyd, Synthia Boyd-Howell, Marion Beverly-Peoples (Brent), Regina Beverly-Davis (Jesse), and Felicia Williams; 8 step-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; niece and caregiver, Sandra (Harris) Jackson of Chattanooga; other relatives and friends. Pastor John White will give the words of comfort.
