Linda Faye Torrence's Obituary
Linda Faye Watson Torrence, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in a local hospital. She was a 1970 graduate of George Washington Carver High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Linda retired from CONVERGY’S after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Watson, Sr.; mother, Willie Ruth Townsend; and husband of 45 years, Bobby Torrence, Sr. Survivors include her sons, Andre Robinson (Jamey Bradford) of Athens, TN and Bobby Torrence Jr. of Chattanooga; daughter, Courtney Torrence (Mark Burnette) and daughter-in-law, Angie McKenzie, both of Chattanooga; brothers, Walter Watson II, of Atlanta, GA, Johnny (Tawanica) Watson of Bessemer, AL and Larry (Mamie) Watson of San Diego, CA; sisters, Barbara Frank of Washington, D.C., Anita (Ernest) Carter and Beverly Pleasant, both of Bessemer, AL; grandsons, Randy Hollingsworth (Trice Smith), Anthony (Christal) Hooks II, Jordan Torrence, all of Chattanooga, and Nicholas (Krystain) Torrence of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Scarlett Scott of Chattanooga; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
