Lestine Knox's Obituary
Lestine Knox, 62, of Chattanooga, departed this earthly life on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in a local hospital. She was born to Vienna Tatum and Richard McKevie on May 9, 1959. She was educated in the Chattanooga Public School system and worked various jobs throughout her life. Lestine always had a big smile, and shared encouraging words to those she met. She loved to cook. Most of all, Lestine loved her Lord and Savior, and her Abba’s House family where she was an active member of the Celebrate Recovery group, Exodus ministry, and Bus ministry until her passing. Lestine was preceded in death by mother, Vienna Tatum; and sister, Shirley Tatum. She leaves behind her companion of 23 years Herana ‘Randy’ Robinson; one daughter, Tonya Green Phillips; two granddaughters, Keona Phillips and Keara Phillips; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter Tatum, Tyrone Savage, Sylvester Tatum; sister, Jackie McKenzie; special niece, Shawn Tatum; other relatives; and her beloved Abba’s House family. Dr. Ronnie Phillips, Jr. will be the eulogist.
