Lester Bragg's Obituary
Lester Bragg, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, in a local hospital. He graduated from Riverside High class of 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Lester was formerly employed by the City of Chattanooga as a Plumbing Inspector. He was a member of the King of the Road and Scenic City Cruisers Motorcycle Club. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Bragg; siblings, John Bragg, Bertha Springer, Sarah Ann Gaston, Margaret L. Seay, and Albert Bragg. Survivors include his wife, Callie Bragg; daughter, Latrice Bragg of Chattanooga; brothers, Elder Samuel (Rella) Bragg of Evansville, IN, Elder Willie James (Mary Ellen) Bragg of Mobile, AL, Jessie Lee Bragg, and Norman Bragg, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Patsy Bragg (Elder Clyde) Rudd of Jackson, MS and Mattie (Lebron) Russell of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Lester will lie-in-state on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
