Leslie Jones' Obituary
Mother Leslie Ann Jones, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in a hospital in Nashville, TN. She was a member of Holy Temple COGIC and Love Temple Community COGIC. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Jones, Sr.; mother, Charlene Given; father, Elton Thompkins; grandparents, Katherine Holmes, Charles and Lula Dorsey; and brother, Charles Reed. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Calvin Jones; son, Calvin Jones, Sr. of Chattanooga; daughters, Lola (Lavon) Harris of Schenectady, NY, Leslie (Kenna) Ogletree, and Charlotte Jones, both of Chattanooga; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; aunt, Linda Bonner of Chattanooga; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Lebron Hawkins will serve as the eulogist.
