Leotis Harris, Sr.'s Obituary
Leotis Harris, Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a member of St. Phillip Lutheran Church for 60 years. He retired from U.S. Pipe Foundry after over 40 years of service and was a member of the United Steel Workers. Leotis was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Louise Harris; sons, Leotis Harris, Jr. and Corey Harris; and grandson, Xavier Harris. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Linda Mae Harris; son, Kendrick J. Harris; daughters, Reatha (Eric) Hayes and Margaret (Michael) Hill, all of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, twin Cleotis Harris, Eddie (Deborah) Harris, both of Catherine, AL, and Willie James Harris of Mobile, AL; sisters, Lottie Bossie of Tupelo, MS and Mary (Sandy) Anderson of Birmingham, AL; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Joe Jacks will be officiating.
