Lela Louise Dandy's Obituary
Lela Louise Dandy, 92, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She was employed as a Foster Grandparent with the Chambliss Center for Children. She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church. Lela was preceded in death by her husband, John Dandy, Jr.; grandson, Anthony Myles; mother, Mae Scott; brothers, Rush Myles and Eunice Myles; sister, Celastine Naomi Myles. Survivors include her children, Andriene (Albert) Searcy of Stone Mountain, GA, James (Tewannia) Myles, and Leroy (Vina) Dandy, both of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, Sara Ford and Laura Buttram; and several nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Pastor Grant Harris will serve as the eulogist.
