Lataivus K. Moore's Obituary
Lataivus Keyon Moore, 20, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. He was born on July 26, 2004 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Stephen Moore and Latoya Little. He attended Brainerd High School and graduated in 2022. Lataivus was called “Tay-Tay” by his family and friends. He worked at Wrigley’s and VW. Tay-Tay enjoyed shopping, cars, and spending time with his family and friends. Tay-Tay had just become a father to a handsome son named Lataivus. He loved and adored his son, and enjoyed being a dad. Tay had a soft spot for his sister, Jade. He enjoyed spending time with her and giving her money for school and her Shein carts. They loved to argue and horseplay around, and their bond can never be broken. Lataivus was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stephen Walker; his father, Stephen Moore; great-grandfather, Thomas Little; and great-grandmother, Betty Little. Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Lataivus Lamar Moore; mother, Latoya Little; grandparents, Pamela Moore and Jeffrey and Tina Cheeks; brothers, Abram Young and Shunzell Harris; sisters, Jade Harris and Lauren Davis; uncles, Jeffrey Cheeks, Michael Moore, and Jermel Moore; aunts, Tenisha (Alan) Cheeks-Duckett, Nashia Walker, and Bianca Johnson, all of Chattanooga; great-grandfather, Charles Moore, Sr.; great-grandmother, Minnie Moore; great-aunts, Alberta (Maurice) Terry, Donna Moore, and Anna (Arthur) Johnson; great-uncles, Michael Moore and Charles Moore; stepdad, Chris Haddox; cousins, Ta’nia Simpson, Charlesetta Moore, Jeffrey Cheeks, Jr., Jeremiah Cheeks, Joshua Cheeks, Antonio Duckett, and Alan Duckett, III; a host of other relatives and friends. Lataivus will lie-in-state on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Minister Rochelle Harden as the Eulogist. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
