Larry LaBrian Watson's Obituary
Larry LaBrian “Poobie” Watson, 38, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, in a local hospital. He was a 2003 graduate of Red Bank High School. He was employed by Motor Wheels for several years. Larry was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Moore; grandparents, George and Florence Berry, and Hammond Moore. Survivors include his mother, Sharon Watson of Chattanooga; grandmother, Katherine Watson of Chattanooga; sisters, DeQuea (Greg) Moore-Whisnant of Clarksville, TN and Chenefah Moore of Nashville, TN; uncles, Tommy Watson of Chattanooga and Steven (Marlo) Watson of Washington, DC; aunts, Annette (Tim) Pringle of Huntsville, AL, Cathy (Jason) Eppinger and Cheryl Watson, both of Chattanooga; nieces, Sade Anderson, Tesia Cook and Nishante Cook; nephew, Desean Anderson; family friend, General Lee Welcher “Pops”; several cousins; other relatives and friends. Larry will lie-in-state on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery with Jackie Strickland giving words of comfort.
