Larry Dozier Sr.'s Obituary
Larry Dozier, Sr., 72, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, in the Hospice Care Center. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served during the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed by the City of Atlanta in the Parks and Recreation Department. Larry was a member of the Alton Park Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Elizabeth Ann Allen; grandparents, Charles and Clara Dozier. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jemeta Jo Dozier; son, Larry Dozier, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Kenta Dozier, Sr. and Chinara Dozier; great-grandchild, Kenta Dozier, Jr.; several other relatives and friends. Brother Phillip Henderson will be the eulogist.
