Larry W. Armour's Obituary
Larry W. Armour, Sr., 70, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, in a Cookeville, Tennessee Hospice facility. He attended Knoxville School for the Blind and after graduating high school, he attended Knoxville College for the Blind. He was formerly employed by Erlanger Medical Center for many years. He was a member of New Emmanuel Baptist Church. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Thatdeus and Mary Armour; sisters, Susan Armour, and Judy Armour; friends of 60 years, Winston Floyd and Joe Young. Survivors include his children’s mother, Annette Armour; sons, Lawayne Armour of Chattanooga, Larry Armour, Jr. of California, La’Mark Armour of Nashville, and Tracey Beard Armour of Chattanooga; daughter, Antoinette Armour, several grandchildren; brothers, Gilbert (Mary) Armour of Chattanooga and Winston Jan (Bette) Armour of Milan, Italy; sisters, Patricia (Dr. Kunsana) Keith of California, Vickie (Andrew) Massengill, Alice (Carven) Baker, Jr., Cathy Armour (William Freeman) Leak, and Rosemerry (Gary Ewing) Armour, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Frankie Bates will be giving the words of comfort.
