LaRhonda Halfacre's Obituary
LaRhonda Tashay Halfacre, 32, of Chattanooga, was called to her eternal rest on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at her residence. She was born on September 21, 1992 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Ricky Halfacre and Rhonda Halfacre.
LaRhonda was employed at Cigna Health for many years as an Account Installation Senior Representative II. She is a 2016 graduate of East Tennessee State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She was a graduate of Tyner High School, class of 2011. LaRhonda was truly beautiful, outgoing, and a loving person. She loved and enjoyed life. She enjoyed spending time with her children, special friend, family, and friends. She accepted Christ and united with Mount Canaan Baptist Church, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
LaRhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Browdy, Carrie L. Halfacre, and Plez Marchman; and aunt, Stephanie Hammonds.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two children, son, LeLand A. Everhart; daughter, Leela R. Everhart; like a son, Tony Everhart, Jr.; like daughters, Nikaylee and Anika Everhart; mother, Rhonda Halfacre; father, Ricky Halfacre Sr.; special friend, Antonio L. Everhart; brothers, Ricky Halfacre Jr. and twin brother, Roderick Halfacre; sister, Rikita Halfacre; grandmother, Gloria Jean Hammonds; great-grandmother, Hattie Mae Hammonds; nephews, Zareion Halfacre and Roderick Halfacre, Jr.; nieces, Janiyah Halfacre, Jamiyah Halfacre, Jakiyah Halfacre, Jariyah Halfacre, and Raegan Halfacre, all of Chattanooga; devoted and loving cousins, Ashley Hines and Antionette Taylor; honorable mentions, Marti Tolliver, Kayla Odom, Toya Hayes, and Shunika Patillo; a host of uncles; aunts; nephews; nieces; cousins; and many friends.
LaRhonda will truly be missed by her children, family and friends. Her legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will live on in the lives she touched.
LaRhonda will lie-in-state on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, July 25, 2025, at 12 noon in the chapel with Minister Linda Richards as the Eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
