Kimberly Stewart Starks' Obituary
Kimberly “Kim” Darlene Starks, 60, born October 28, 1960 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Minnie Gary Witcher and the late Thomas Stewart Jr. Kim departed this life on February 23, 2021 in Moreno Valley, California. Kim was a 1978 graduated from Riverside High School as the salutatorian. She attended Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia as well as Riverside Community College. She was in numerous organizations that inspired her to excel in life. Kim became owner of her ‘Aunty Kims Foundation’ which orchestrated funds for the underserved to enable them to have food, shelter and clothing. Kim also helped to organize the Backpack for Kids in Riverside, California at the church where her husband pastors. She co-owned a taxi service called the Pink Lady Taxi. Kim was a faithful member of the Iberie Progressive Association, which is a Nigerian based group that caters to the needs of the Nigerian communities. She was also a missionary in Ghana. She was employed with the Riverside County Department of Public works. Kim helped to supervise in the Accounting Technical Services Department. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Thomas and Georgia Stewart; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Essie Gary; and sister Sandra Lynette Stewart. Kim leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Pastor Terle Starks; daughter, Chirmere (Marquis) Harris; grandsons, Rease Harris and Christian Starks; mother, Minnie Witcher; sister, Edith Wadley, stepdaughter Deanna Starks; stepson, Patrick Starks; granddaughters, Caden Walker, Penny Walker, and Keanna Starks; nieces, Bundles Wadley and Kellel Ware; nephews, Ricardo, Desman, Desman Jr., Jarius and Michah Ware; aunts, Elnora Kirby, Elizabeth Bonds, and Mizora Woods; a plethora of cousins; other relatives and friends both nationally and internationally.
