Kevonta Javon Lane, 19, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on February 10, 2005, to Fredrick Alexander and Vanessa Lane. He was attending Maplewood High School. Kevonta was preceded in death by his grandparents, Endia Harris and Howard Donahue; brothers, Lovelle Bailey and CorDarrius Bailey. Survivors include his father, Fredrick Alexander; mother, Vanessa Lane; grandfather, Robert Bailey; brothers, Edwin Harris, Leonard Lane, Othello Lane, Knykholas Lane, all of Chattanooga, and David Lane of Nashville, TN; sisters, Endia Lane, Lenessa Lane, both of Chattanooga, Isrielle Lane, of Nashville, Kayla Bailey, Mesha Bailey, Raina Bailey, Kapanesha Bailey, all of Chattanooga, and Rodreka Gaines, of Knoxville, TN; uncle, Edgar (Paulette) Harris; aunts, Robbie Bailey and Geraldine Donahue, both of Chattanooga; best friends, Monterrio Sanford, Antonio Trice, Rusty Trice, and Terrance; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends. Kevonta will lie-in-state on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery at 2:45 p.m.
