Kenyatta Jasper's Obituary
Kenyatta Kwasi “Kwaz” Jasper, 41, of Chattanooga, passed away in a car accident Monday, May 3, 2021 in Acworth, GA. He was a 1998 graduate of Brainerd High School and continued at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Battle; grandparents, Ardell and Henry Battle; aunts, Carolyn Cook and Barbara Summerrow; and uncle, Billy Summerrow, Sr. Survivors include his fiancé, Clarissa Garner; sons, Kenyatta Jasper II and Cameron Garner; father, Sadat Jasper; sister, Cummingus “Missy” Battle; nieces, DeKliah Kelly, DaMea Kelly, DaMya Kelly, and DaMari Kelly, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends. Kenyatta will lie-in-state Friday, May 14, 2021 from 12:30-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Minister Michael Malone will be the eulogist.
