Kenneth Jacob Steward's Obituary
Kenneth Jacob Steward, 85, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his residence. He was a graduate of Washington Carver High School in Scottsboro, Alabama. He was employed by Rock-Tenn and retired after 44 years of service. He drove Cab #39 for Mercury Cab for many years and was known as “Doc”. Kenneth was a faithful member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Church and Exie Steward; wife, Mary Kate Steward; two brothers; and eight sisters. Survivors include his son, Kenneth G. Steward; grandson, Adrian Steward, both of Scottsboro, AL; sister, Irene Bogan of Cleveland, OH; devoted companion, Victoria Suttles; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Kelvert Scruggs will serve as the eulogist.
