Kenneth McDonald, Sr.'s Obituary
Kenneth LeBron McDonald Sr. was born April 19, 1963 to James Bolden and Betty Harris in Chattanooga, Tennessee; later adopted by Willie Lee McDonald. He attended Kirkman High School where he graduated; then served in the United States Army as an Ammunition Specialist in the 82nd Airborne Division.
Kenneth worked several jobs in the Chattanooga area including Pilgrim's Pride, Planters, Komatsu, and US Express. He had a passion for photography, music, and art.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandmother Ruby Harris and parents, James Bolden and Betty Harris.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories sons, Kenneth (La'Trenita) McDonald, Jr. and Kristopher McDonald; grandsons, Jaden and Kenneth (III) McDonald and Jordan McClendon; granddaughters, Kenique and Kimora McDonald, Albraya McDonald, My’Chella Butler and Imari Smith; brothers, Sydney (of Chattanooga, Tennessee) and Roland McDonald (of Yuma, Arizona) and a host of relatives and friends.
Kenneth will lie-in-state on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
