Kenneth P. Bush's Obituary
Kenneth Pierre “Bubba” Bush was born on May 16, 1985, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the son of Kenneth Wilkins and Angela Bush. He passed away peacefully in a local hospital surrounded by some of his loving family members on February 10, 2026.
He had an incredible way of making everyone feel seen, loved, and valued. Whether through a helping hand, a word of encouragement, or simply his presence, he made his children, family, and friends feel loved. Kenneth was the type of person who would give his last to help anyone without hesitation.
Kenneth was also known for speaking his mind, honest, straightforward, and sincere. He stood firmly in his beliefs, never afraid to share his thoughts, yet guided by respect and a genuine desire for understanding.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Kenneth’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire all who carry his spirit forward. In honoring his memory, we are reminded to live as he did, with open hands, a caring heart, and unwavering kindness toward others.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents, James May, Carol May, and Jimmy Bush, Sr.; several uncles, aunts, and cousins; and his best friend, Tameka Dortch.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Michelle Bush; sons, Kenneth Bush, Jr., Kyree Bush, Myking Woodley; daughters, Keniya and Kimora Bailey; parents, Kenneth (Valarie) Wilkins and Angela Bush; brothers DeAngelo Justice, Cortese Lightfoot, and Wayne Allen Jr.; sisters Marketa Bush, Ashlee River, and Paige Wilkins, all of Chattanooga, TN; Monique (Moses) Crowder of Atlanta, GA; grandmother, Vera Brown; nephews, Marquez Williams, Edward Brydsong, Nickarrus Cheaton, Yasmine Springs, Kingston Wilkins, Kendre, Teavin and Daylan Dillard, Leeland and Kymani Lightfoot, Tyriq Harris; nieces Nakeyla Brydsong, Ra’Siyah Dansby, Amari Smith, Nyreona Wilkins, Kenzlei Smith, MiAngel Harris; host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Kenneth will lie-in-state on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
