Kathleen McBee's Obituary
Kathleen McBee, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, in a local hospital. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Ruby Lee Bridgeman; husband, William E. McBee; sister, Mary Alice Fletcher; son, David Lee Calloway, Jr.; grandson, David C. Roddy; granddaughter, Tabitha Hall; great-grandson, Carlos Mosley, Jr.; and great-great-granddaughter, Jasmine Chalk. Survivors include her daughter, Pearl Lee Calloway of Taylor, MI; 6 grandchildren, Crystal (Janaro) Hayes of San Diego, CA, Timothy (Wendy) Calloway of Detroit, MI, Laura (Damon) Hicks of Canton, MI, Nigel Powell of Taylor, MI, devoted Wenona Calloway (Thaddeus Daniel), and Edwina Calloway, both of Chattanooga; 14 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Kathleen will lie-in-state on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Patrick Martin giving the discourse.
