Katherine Virginia Lawrence, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in a local healthcare facility. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Laura Cowan, Sr.; grandmother, Eugene Fears; brother, Carl Cowan, Jr.; and daughter, Priscilla Ann Garth. Survivors include her granddaughter, Renita Harmon; great-grandchildren, Antonio Harmon and Eriel Holland; sisters, Mary Hawthorne and Meredith Scott; stepsisters, Betty and Louvenia Brown; stepbrother, Sunny Brown; nephew, Justin Hawthorne; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Walter Lindsey will serve as the eulogist.
