Justin Dewayne ‘J-Rock’ Peoples, Sr., 27, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020. He attended Brainerd High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ingrid Baylor; brother, Alex Freeman, III; and great-uncle, Bruce Patton. Survivors include his two sons, and their mothers, Justin Peoples, Jr. (Briana Espy) and Jehmari Deloney (Marshayla Deloney); father, Clarence Peoples; stepfather, Alfred Ward, Sr.; grandparents, Patricia (Joseph) Knight and George Calhoun; brothers, Antonio Baylor and Christopher Baylor; sisters, Ciara Baylor, Lia Baylor, Leah Walker, Whitney Peoples, Stacy Peoples, and Brecia Baylor (Octavius Careathers); uncles, Derrick (LaTonya) Knight, Sr., Jeffery (Candy) Knight, Brandon Calhoun, Terrance Calhoun, and Tim Johnson; aunts, Yolanda Calhoun, Casandra (Gil) Wideman, Karen (Derrick) Hatter, Nadia (Robert) Shropshire, and Danielle Poole; best friend, Roderick Halfacre; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Ronald Cook, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
