Justin M. Glover's Obituary
Justin Marquel Glover, 34, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, in a local hospital. He was born in Chattanooga on September 27, 1989, to his beloved parents, LaFrederick Glover, Sr. and Shantelle Cash. Justin was full of life and family oriented. He loved his children dearly and was adamant about being a father to his kids. Growing up, Justin was multi-talented in football and basketball. He was a graduate of Howard High class of 2007. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Emma Thomas, Julia Ray, and Lola Cash; great- grandfathers, Irvin Glover, Sr., Harvey Clay, and James Cash; grandfather, Irving Glover, Jr.; aunt, Michelle Glover; and uncle, Derrick Glover. Justin leaves behind to cherish his memories six children, Jaylee, Julez, Kay’Aurrie, Jy’Aire, Jream, and Jayce; father LaFrederick (Tammy) Glover, Sr.; mother, Shantelle (Joe) Cash; grandfather, George Cash; grandmothers, Rose Clay and Gwendolyn Thomas; sisters, (Twin) Jasmine (Darrell) Glover, Deshay Williams, Shakeila Glover, Kiara Glover, and Shana (Lemel) Powell; brothers, Brandon (Tamekia) Appleberry, Dequon Dwight, LaFrederick (Courtney) Glover, Jr., Donta Williams, Derrick Glover, and Kevin Williams; 16 nieces; 12 nephews; special cousin, Charles (Chuck) Hudson; special friend, Brittany Strickland; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. Justin will lie-in-state on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
