The Olivet Baptist Church Bereavement Support Ministry share sincere condolences to the entire family. May the warmth of God provide comfort, and strength during this difficult season.

Ms. Juanita was like a second mother to me and my sister. Our mother, Clara Hughes, and her were best friends and she would always call both of us on our birthday, because her birthday and our birthday was one day apart from each other. She helped raising us, and she celebrated our achievements, and consoled us when we were challenged with life. You will be truly missed and you are loved by both of us. Rest in peace. Our condolences goes out to the family.

To Deborah, Eric (Chico) and Alonzo I pray your memories of life with Ms. Juanita will comfort you as you mourn her loss; she will be missed. I met Ms. Juanita as a young girl when she and my Aunt Pamela Gocher Brown became friends. I remember her as a fun loving, caring person. She knew how to have fun and made sure all around her were having a good time especially at her card parties. She had a caring spirit and always the "social worker" assisting people with getting needed services. RIP Ms. Juanita!
