Juanita T. Delk's Obituary
Juanita T. Delk, 71, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at her residence. She was a 1968 graduate of Riverside High School and graduated from UTC with a degree in Social Work. She also received her Master’s degree. Juanita was a member of the AKA Sorority, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Thurman and Addie Edwards; grandparents, Wiley and Ada Edwards; and brother, Shelby Washington. Survivors include her son, Damon (Carmen) Woodruff of Chattanooga; daughters, Dawn (Ken) Green of Hollywood, FL, Jamie Woodruff of Nashville, TN, and Jackie (Brian) Harden of Columbus, OH; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Frankie (Edward) Bass and Sarah Tooks, both of Chattanooga; special niece, Jevita Chapman; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
