Joyce Ann Johnson, 73, of Lafayette, Georgia, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, in a Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, James Sewell; mother, Mozella Sims; son, Zachary Williams; sisters, Jacqueline Scott, JoAnn Johnson, Sandra Kate Johnson, Barbara Jean Mitchell; granddaughter, Dannique Watkins; grandson, Kentrell Provens. Survivors include her sons, David Williams, Edward Williams both of Knoxville, TN, and LaBrandit Williams of Chattanooga; daughters, Kimberly (Michael) Bethune of Ringgold, GA; Theresa Provens of Fort Oglethorpe; Dianna Gates of Port St. Lucie, FL; Moneica Williams of Knoxville, TN, and Janice Williams of Lafayette, GA; 32 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Charlotte Lingo of Jacksonville, FL and Betty Johnson of Chattanooga; special grandchildren, Zachary Williams, JaKiya Williams, and Shanique Williams; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
